MANILA, Philippines – The Miss Universe Philippines Foundation has crowned nine titles, six of whom will participate in the Miss Universe pageant in South Korea in December.

The winners were selected from a field of 19 married women who participated in the national gala dinner held at the Okada Manila Grand Ballroom in ParaƱaque City on October 2, and ended early the morning of October 3.

The first title of Mrs. Universe Philippines went to Veronica Yu from Quezon City, while the Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN-North Pacific Asia crown went to Gines Angeles from Nueva Ecija, and the Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN-Northeast Asia title went to Lady Chatterly Sumbeling from Pangasinan.

Jeannie Jarina from Valenzuela City was crowned as Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN-West Pacific Asia, Jessa Macaraig from Bulacan was announced as Mrs. Universe Philippines FDN-Pacific Continental, and Michelle Solinap from Iloilo was crowned as Mrs. Philippines Universe FDN-Continental Asia.

All six of them will compete in the 2022 Mrs Universe Ltd. pageant in South Korea in December with more than 100 representatives from different parts of the world.

The world submission is carried out by an organization based in Bulgaria established in 2007. This should not be confused with another competition with a similar name, the Ms. Universe page (Office), organized by something based on Australia that will hold your initial copy. also in December.

Several other winners were announced at the national pageant finale – Ms. Universe Philippines FDN-Luzon Anita Gutierrez from Pampanga, Ms. Universe Philippines FDN-Visayas Betchay De Dios from Cotabato City, and Ms. Universe Philippines FDN-Mindanao Virginia Evangelista from Cagayan Valley.

Margie Aquino from Pagadian City was the first runner-up, Mar Vargas from Laguna was the second runner-up, and Malou Rustia from Mandaluyong City was the third runner-up.

Singer-entrepreneur Maria Charo Calalo, Ms. Universe Philippines national director, and herself the title holder of Ms. Universe Philippines for 2019/2020, hosted the country’s pageant.

It was also announced during the program that the Philippines will host the Mrs. Universe 2023 pageant, where more than 100 participants from different parts of the world are expected to participate. EDV
