The International Federation of Body Building and Fitness (IFBB) Night of Champions will take place in Abu Dhabi on March 9-12, 2023.

At its meeting, the IFBB granted the capital of the United Arab Emirates the rights to host the prestigious Night of Champions event.

Dr. Rafael Santonja, IFBB President, presided over the meeting and made the announcement after holding discussions with retired Colonel Abdul Karim Mohamed Saeed, President of the IFBB International Bodybuilding and Fitness Academy in the UAE and Middle East, in the presence of Engineer Walid Abdul. Karim Muhammad Saeed, Director General of the Academy.

Dr. Santoga emphasized that the decision to host the Night of Champions in Abu Dhabi was made due to the UAE’s complete hosting of major sporting events and the significant role of the IFBB International Academy for Bodybuilding in Dubai in the development of the sport.

“Hosting the IFBB Night of Champions event in Abu Dhabi will definitely add another feather to the UAE’s cap, as the country enjoys a reputation as the most popular nation for hosting global events,” said retired Colonel Abdul.

“The Night of Champions is one of the most important events in the IFBB calendar, attended by elite athletes, and we look forward to making this global tournament a huge success.”

He also thanked the IFBB for choosing the Academy as the main organizer of the competition.

“The UAE is the first country in the Middle East to host and organize the Night of Champions event featuring the world’s best athletes.

“The technical and administrative details of this international event will be announced soon,” said Engineer Walid.
