A Chandigarh court has taken notice of Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu in a case filed by actress Upasana Singh. The court of Judge Junior Division has ordered Harnaaz Kaur to submit her answer on September 7, 2022. Upasana Singh is known for the role of ‘Bua’ in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

Upasana Singh had filed a civil suit on August 4, demanding damages of Rs 1 crore from Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu for allegedly breaching the contract and non-performance of her obligations in terms of the contract between them.

Upasana Singh said that he has signed Harnaaz Sandhu as the lead artist under the banner of Santosh Entertainment Studio LLP in 2020 in a Punjabi feature film “Bai Ji Kuttange.”

Upasana said that through the agreement signed on December 13, 2020, it was specifically agreed between both parties that the actor will make himself available throughout the promotional activities of the film both by being in person during events like it’s almost enough.

Upasana alleged that soon after Harnaaz was crowned Miss Universe 2021 and received international recognition, her behavior changed. He alleged that Harnaaz Sandhu violated all professional and contractual obligations by completely ignoring all communications made by the production house to him and all concerned. He did not even answer a single word or any of the e-mails we sent him.

As a result of such behavior on the part of Miss Universe, the film lost distributors, its release date was compromised and finally, the release date was postponed from May 27, 2022 to August 19, 2022.

Upasana Singh said that they are taking huge losses in money, because of his behavior. Upasana said that he had already fulfilled his part of the agreement by paying the entire amount of Rs 1 lakh to the accused as per the agreement.
