Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu represented India in one of the most popular annual events organized by Indians in the United States of America – the India Day Parade, celebrating 75 years of India’s independence. Harnaaz along with superstar Allu Arjun and his wife, Sneha Reddy, attended that famous battle. It is held every year in New York City. Videos and pictures of Miss Universe from the event are going viral on social media. They show Harnaaz having a fun greeting session with fans, giving speeches, interacting with Allu Arjun, speaking Chak De Phette to his fans, and much more.
Harnaaz addressed the fans before the event
On Monday (IST), the official page of Miss Universe took to Instagram to drop several videos of Harnaaz Sandhu from the India Day 2022 pageant on their Instagram stories. The first clip shows Harnaaz talking to his fans before attending the event. He said, “Sat Sri Akaal, namaste, I’m Harnaaz Sandhu, your Miss Universe, and we’re all set for the India Day Parade. I’m really excited to start. Stay tuned.” The Miss Country also met Allu Arjun, raised the Indian flag and greeted her fans during the event. Check out videos from the event below. Harnaaz decked herself out in a shimmering beige saree from the shelves of designer clothing label Sawan Gandhi for the occasion. The six yards feature silver sequinned dimantes and a scaled lace border.
The 22-year-old beauty queen left the six yards in style, letting the pallu fall from her shoulders. A beige satin-silk sleeveless blouse completed Harnaaz’s outfit.
Harnaaz sported a stylish look with a Miss Universe crown, a glittering necklace, silver jhumkis and matching high heels. A center-parted open hairstyle, smoky eye shadow, mauve lip shade, glowing cheeks, mascara on lashes, bright skin, and kohl-lined eyes complete the glam choices.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe pageant has recently announced that married women and mothers will be allowed to enter the pageant from 2023. Previously, mothers were excluded from the pageant and the winners were need to avoid getting pregnant while serving as the reigning Miss Universe.
